Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When a name or case number is entered into a search tool, the query is sent to the provider operating that tool. The provider processes the search under its own practices. This reference does not retain the search terms as a court-record database.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends the operator a message, the message may be retained to respond or maintain the correspondence. It is not sold or distributed outside the operator except where a legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
A page request can create ordinary technical logs associated with the visit, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device that can help measure page use and traffic patterns. Analytics providers may aggregate that information for the operator. Browser controls can limit cookies, although some site functions may respond differently when they are blocked.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
This reference does not host, keep, compile, or sell Morrill County court dockets or personal case-record databases. It identifies the official routes to the County Court Clerk Magistrate, the District Court Clerk, and Nebraska JUSTICE. The operator is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and does not assemble visitor data into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Third-party companies operate the search boxes displayed on some pages. Their privacy policies, retention choices, and sharing practices apply to information submitted through their tools. Review the provider's policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Nebraska Judicial Branch pages, Morrill County court pages, Nebraska JUSTICE, or third-party search services. Once a visitor leaves this reference, the destination's terms and privacy practices control. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across sites and deliver interest-based advertisements. That activity is governed by the partner's practices rather than this policy.
Who Might See Your Data
The operator does not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
The operator uses reasonable safeguards for information it handles. No internet-connected system can promise complete security, so a visitor should not assume that a transmission or stored message is risk-free.
Users Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If the operator learns that a minor provided personal information, the information will be reviewed for deletion.
Your Data Rights
Privacy and consumer-protection law may provide rights that vary by location. Nebraska Public Records Act, section 84-712, concerns public records held by custodians. It does not make this private reference a court-record custodian or alter court access rules. Requests concerning data held by the operator may include:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
The operator may revise this policy as its practices change. A revised version will be posted here with its effective date.
